Stabæk continued its relegation march, losing big to Brann Monday, with American defender Sean Cunningham starting and putting in a 90-minute shift at center back.
Stabæk held on for most of the first half but gave up a goal in the 36th minute. The home side couldn't clear a corner, with Amin Askar heading down to Bentley. Bentley then fired home the half volley from six yards out.
Brann took a one goal lead to halftime, but two goals early in the second half put the game away.
In the 46th minute, Erdine Demir fired a cross in front of goal, and Birkir Sævarsson met and sent it into the back of the net.
Then, in the 51st minute, Bentley added his second goal of the game, when he sent a low shot from 16 yards away that Jan Kjell Larsen could only parry into the net.
Erik Huseklepp added another goal in the 81st minute for Brann, and the rout was completed.
Stabæk continues to occupy last place in the Tippeligaen. The team returns to action Sunday against Sandnes Ulf.
