EXTRA TIME
MATHEW WAGNER - Wednesday, August 29, 2012
Royal-Dominique Fennel and the Stuttgarter Kickers look to continue their unbeaten run, while Matt Taylor and Münster need a win to return to a spot in the top three places in the 3.Bundesliga.

Arminia Bielefeld - Stuttgarter Kickers

Royal-Dominique Fennel should start once again for the Kickers, as he has done all season.

The Kickers picked up a huge win over the weekend against Osnabrück and now sits in 11th place in the standings, thanks to seven points in its last three games.

It will be tough for the Kickers to continue its run against Bielefeld. Bielefeld has won five in a row and sits in second place in the 3.Bundesliga.

The Kickers' Simon Köpf will miss because of a knee injury.

Bielefeld is not reporting any injuries at this time.

SV Wehen Wiesbaden - SV Darmstadt 98

Preston Zimmerman should start for Darmstadt Wednesday, as the team travels to Wiesbaden.

Darmstadt has struggled scoring so far this season, recording only four goals. Because of the goal-scoring difficulties, Darmstadt sits in 18th place through six games.

Wiesbaden hasn't fared much better this season, currently riding a five-game winless streak into the game.

Darmstadt could be without Benjamin Baier, as he continues to recover from a thigh injury.

Wiesbaden is not reporting any injuries at this time.

Hallescher FC - Preußen Münster

Matt Taylor hopes to put Münster back into the top three places in the standings, as the team plays Hallescher.

After an upset win in the first round of the DFB Pokal against Werder Bremen two weekends ago, Münster played a lackluster draw to Heidenheim on the weekend. Münster dropped into fifth place.

Earning promotion into the 3.Bundesliga last season, Hallescher has enjoyed a fine start this season, sitting in sixth place with 11 points thus far.

Neither team is reporting any injuries at this time.

Notes

Jerome Kiesewetter will probably not be in the lineup for VfB Stuttgart II, when the team takes on Babelsberg.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
