After much speculation, American winger Joe Gyau has completed a loan deal from Hoffenheim to 2.Bundesliga club St. Pauli.

Gyau, 19, will now join St. Pauli immediately and the loan will run through the entire 2012/13 season with an option to extend for an additional season.

"The loan is complete for Joe Gyau to St. Pauli for the season," Gyau's agent Adam Davis told YA.

It was also learned that the loan contains no option to buy but the option to extend lies with St. Pauli.

St. Pauli is not off to a good start this season in the 2.Bundesliga with just two points in three games.

Gyau's debut for St. Pauli could come this Saturday when they host fellow American Andrew Wooten and Sandhausen.
