The American duo of Geoff Cameron and Maurice Edu look to help Stoke City against Wigan Athletic, while Eric Lichaj hopes to see the field as Aston Villa takes on Newcastle United.

Tottenham Hotspur - Norwich City

Brad Friedel and Tottenham Hotspur host Norwich City at White Hart Lane.

Friedel is expected to start at goalie once again for Spurs.

Two games into the Premier League season Tottenham is without a win. Spurs drew with West Brom last week and lost to Newcastle United in the season's opener.

The Canaries started out the season on a low as they went down to Fulham in a rout, but since then they managed a draw with Queens Park Rangers and a win in League Cup play against Scunthorpe United.

Danny Rose will miss for Spurs due to suspension, while Younes Kaboul, Giovani Dos Santos, and Scott Parker are injured.

West Bromwich Albion - Everton

Tim Howard and Everton take to the road and face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Howard did not play in Everton's League Cup win over Leyton Orient on Wednesday, but the US international is likely to feature this weekend.

The Toffees have started out the Premier League season on fire, as they beat powerhouse Manchester United on opening weekend and defeated Aston Villa the week after. Everton also beat Leyton Orient in the midweek in League Cup play.

West Brom has also had a positive start to the season, having beaten Liverpool and tied Tottenham. They also beat Yeovil Town on Tuesday in Cup play.

Phil Neville and Tony Hibbert look to miss for Everton.

Wigan Athletic - Stoke City

Geoff Cameron, Maurice Edu, and Stoke City travel to play Wigan Athletic in league play.

Cameron is likely to see the field once again for the Potters, while it is still unclear if newly signed Edu will see the field on Saturday.

Ever since arriving at Stoke, the former Houston Dynamo star has been seeing playing time. Cameron though has been lining up at center midfield as opposed to his regular center defense position that he plays with the US and used to play in Houston.

Stoke is coming off a tough loss in League Cup play in the midweek, and has not garnered a win in Premier League play this season thus far. The Potters drew with Reading and Arsenal.

Wigan beat Nottingham Forest easily on Tuesday in cup play, while also notching a win over Southampton last week in the Premier League. The Latics look to keep their positive momentum going with a win in front of their fans this weekend.

Both Stoke and Wigan go into the match without any notable injuries.

Newcastle United - Aston Villa

Eric Lichaj and Aston Villa visit Newcastle United for an early season crucial matchup.

Lichaj featured in Villa's midweek League Cup win over Tranmere Rovers. The defender could see playing time this weekend.

Brad Guzan started Tuesday's League Cup game, but is likely to be on the bench on Sunday.

Villa has no points to report after two league games, meaning Sunday's game is crucial if Lichaj and company don't want to dig an early season hole.

United is coming off a loss to Chelsea last week, though they were victorious against Tottenham Hotspur in Premier League opener.

Samir Carruthers, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Marc Albrighton, and Richard Dunne are injury worries for Aston Villa.

Millwall - Middlesbrough

Seb Hines and MIddlesbrough take on Millwall in Championship action on Saturday.

After missing the first two games of the season with an injury, Hines has featured in Boro's last two games and is likely to see the field this weekend.

Boro beat Gillingham this midweek in cup play and has won two out of their first three Championship games thus far. They look to keep up their momentum and garner three points on Saturday.

Millwall has just won one game out of their first three in league play this season. They lost and tied their matchups with Boro last season and hope to garner three points this time around at home.

Rhys Williams hurt his ankle in midweek League Cup action and could need surgery to repair it. Williams will miss for Boro.

Hull City - Bolton Wanderers

Tim Ream looks to help Bolton reach victory in their road game against Hull City.

Ream's playing time has been inconsistent since the season began, but the defender did start in Bolton's midweek League Cup loss to Crawley Town. The former New York Red Bull star could see time this weekend.

Bolton's season has started with a win, a loss, and a draw. They hope to garner some consistency starting with a win this Saturday.

Hull City is winless in the last three games in all competitions. They look to bounce back and get back to winning ways against Bolton.

Josh Vela and David Ngog look to miss for Bolton.

Birmingham City - Peterborough United

Jonathan Spector, Will Packwood, and Birmingham City host Peterborough United in Championship play.

After not starting in the first game of the season, Spector has seen consistent time on the field for Birmingham. He is likely to see the field this weekend.

Packwood has not seen playing time after the first game of the season. He is hoping to make it back to the field on Saturday.

Birmingham has only managed one point in three games and will need to start gaining points. They also lost their League Cup game against Coventry City.

Peterborough have dug themselves into an early hole thus far, as they have lost every game this season. United hope to turn things around against Birmingham.

Stevenage - Shrewsbury Town

Robbie Rogers and Stevenage look to keep their strong League One start to the season going against Shrewsbury Town.

Rogers started in Stevenage's League Cup loss to Southampton. The midfielder could see time this weekend.

Stevenage is currently unbeaten in the young season thus far, having garnered seven points in three games. They did lose their League Cup game but they hope to bounce back on Saturday.

Shrewsbury Town has four points in three games hopes to start maximizing their point count. They were knocked out of the League Cup in the first round and thus did not play in the midweek.

Hartlepool United - Scunthorpe United

Mike Grella and Scunthorpe United take to the road in a League One battles against Hartlepool United.

Grella has seen regular time since arriving at Scunthorpe and should see the field this weekend.

Both teams have currently no wins between them in the young season, with Hartlepool leading the way with one draw. They both find this game an opportunity to start scraping their way out of the bottom of the standings.


Clint Dempsey is not expected to feature in Fulham's match with West Ham United.

Cody Cropper is not likely to feature in Southampton's game against Manchester United.

Robbie Findley hopes to make the game day roster in Nottingham Forest's match against Charlton Athletic.

Conor Doyle and Derby County take on Watford.

Zak Whitbread could see time in Leicester City's game against Blackpool.

Frank Simek hopes to feature in Carlisle United's game against Milton Keynes Dons.

Jon Paul Pittman and Oxford United take on York City in League Two play.
