CHAD WINGER - Friday, August 31, 2012
The remaining Americans alive in the Europa League now know their destinations after the group stage draw was held in Monaco on Friday.

USMNT teammates will go head to head in two groups, with Group K having Americans on three of the four teams. Mikkel Diskerud's Rosenborg will face Terrence Boyd and Rapid Vienna. Neither player will likely face backup Bayer Leverkusen keeper David Yelldell, whose German club and Ukraine's Metalist Kharkiv round out the group.

In Group L, last season's quarter-finalist Hannover 96 and captain Steve Cherundolo will hook up with Alejandro Bedoya and Helsingborg after the Swedes were eliminated from the Champions League. Eredivisie team FC Twente and Spain's Levante were also drawn with the Americans.

Further American highlights will see Josh Gatt and Molde paired VfB Stuttgart while feel-good story Bryan Gerzicich and Hapoel Kiryat Shmona will face off with French big guns Lyons in Group I.
