PREVIEW: AS ROMA - US PALERMO
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
SCOTT PETERSON - Saturday, November 3, 2012
Michael Bradley will be eyeing a spot in the starting lineup for the second time in as many outings as AS Roma look to bounce back versus Palermo after a disappointing showing on Wednesday.

Bradley got his third start of the season in the loss to Parma, where the Romans took an early lead only to succumb to errors in the backline and fall 3-2.

After conceding three goals in the past two matches, head coach Zdenek Zeman figures to tweak his back four a bit by bringing on experienced right back Federico Balzaretti for the young, talented and mistake prone Dodó.

After dropping two games in succession, Roma find themselves in seventh place and in dire need of a victory to keep pace with the teams at the top of the Serie A standings.

Set to do battle with the Romans Sunday night is Sicilian squad Palermo. Lead by diminutive talisman Fabrizio Miccoli, Palermo come into the match on the heels of an impressive 2-2 tie against AC Milan.

The Sicilians, however, find themselves at the wrong end of the league standings in 17th place with eight points.

Kickoff is set for 8:45 p.m. local time in the Stadio Olimpico.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
