Former US U20 and Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Zac MacMath is heading overseas to train with Everton of the English Premier League.

MacMath, 21, is coming off his second professional season with the Union and started 32 games this past season. While the Union did not make the playoffs, MacMath earned positive reviews for his performance this past season.

This training stint was arranged through Chris Woods who is the goalkeeping coach for both Everton and the US national team.

"Zac will train at Everton for a few weeks," MacMath's agent Dan Segal told YA. "We set this up for him through Chris Woods."

MacMath is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida and enjoyed a standout career in college with the University of Maryland.
