Steven Silva Rodrigues was the only Yank in action in Portugal this weekend, going the full 90 in Leixoes' tie with Sporting B.

Steven lined up in his customary role as an outside back and did his part to hold the potent Sporting attackers in check.

The Leixoes defense will be pleased with the shutout as the second place team from Lisbon had scored two goals in each of their previous four games.

Unfortunately the visitors could not find the back of the net either, and their winless streak extended to five games.

Sporting B controlled the majority of the game and created dangerous chances through Chilean youngster Diego Rubio and Betinho, but Kizito Luwagga and Tiago Borges also had late opportunities to steal the points for Leixoes.

The result puts Steven and crew in 14th place with their next game coming against Oliveirense on 12/30.
