After spending most of 2012 on loan from FC Dallas to Comunicaciones in Guatemala, former US U-20 left back Moises Hernandez is now heading on another loan to Deportivo Saprissa of Costa Rica.

Hernandez, 20, earned modest playing time in 2012 for Comunicaciones where he made four appearances and two starts for a total of 205 minutes. Comunicaciones went on to win Guatemala's Liga Nacional title with a resounding 4-0 aggregate win over Municipal in the finals.

"Moises is traveling to Saprissa today," Hernandez's agent Chris Megaloudis told YA on Wedensday. " [The deal is] potentially six months [with an option] to extend to 12 months."

In 2012, Deportivo Saprissa finished in second place in Costa Rica's Primera Division, just one point behind Alajuelense.
