ANDY SCHREUR - Sunday, February 3, 2013
In their first game following Ertuğrul Sağlam's resignation, Bursaspour fought to earn a draw against the league leader's Galatasaray on Saturday.

US international Maurice Edu played 90 minutes for Bursaspour

Galatasaray looked dangerous the entire match but it was Bursaspor who opened up the scoring when Sebastian Pinto his sixth goal of the season and beat Uruguyan keeper Fernando Muslera.

However, Galatasaray fought back and tied the game when Umut Bulut scored his 12th goal of the season and sent the visiting fan section into mass hysteria. The flares, which started before kickoff, nearly tripled in size and smoke covered the field following the goal.

Bursaspor sit in seventh place in the Süper Lig and next face off with Karabükspor, who are in 8th place.

I just hope it's still safe for Edu to play over there with the recent violence. Not sure if Süper Lig is a great choice for Americans these days.
