BRIAN SCIARETTA - Monday, February 18, 2013
Sebastian Lletget has agreed in principal to a new deal with West Ham United.

The 20 year-old Bay Area native has been with the club since 2009 and has steadily risen through the ranks.

"Sebastian has agreed to terms on a new deal with West Ham," a source with knowledge of the situation told YA on Monday. "He has played well all season with the developmental team."

Lletget has yet to make his first team debut with the Hammers, but he has made the bench in several Premier League games this season.

Lletget has been a regular with US youth national teams in the past and was on the World Cup qualifying roster for the 2011 U-20 and 2009 U-17 teams.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
