Bryan Gerzicich and Ironi Kiryat Shmona won their second straight league match over Hapoel Ramat HaSharon.

Kiryat Shmona 1 - 0 Hapoel Ramat HaSharon

Kiryat Shmona are now back to their winning ways after an important win over Hapoel Ramat HaSharon.

A 41st minute strike by Dusan Matovič was enough to seal a crucial away victory for the defending champions. The Serbian defender notched only his second goal of the season. Gerzicich went all 90 minutes as the Kiryat Shmona defense was able to their second straight shutout.

Ironi Ramat HaSharon are in the playoffs as it stands now in sixth position but they only have a one point leader of Beitar Jerusalem and need a win this weekend when they face Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

The Blue Lions remain in fourth place and are guaranteed to return to the Israel league playoffs. Their last match of the regular season is on Saturday when they host 11th place Bnei Sakhnin.

Notes

Leonard Krupnik did not play as Maccabi Netanya held Beitar Jerusalem to a 1-1 draw.

Ryan Adeleye and Hapoel Ashkelon lost to Maccabi Herzliya 2-1.
