Howard will be at Goodison Park for years to come
BRIAN SCIARETTA - Thursday, March 8, 2012
Everton FC today announced that Tim Howard has signed a contract extension that would keep him at the club until 2016.

Howard, 33, joined Everton in 2006 from Manchester United and this contract will ensure that he will have a decade at Everton.

Howard has appeared in 212 Premier League games for Everton and this past January scored his first EPL goal on a wild 85 yard kick that was hit into swerving winds.

Everton is Howard's third professional club. Prior Everton he was with Manchester United from 2003-2006. From 1998-2003, Howard was with the Metrostars in MLS.

On the international front, Howard has earned 73 caps with the United States and has played in the 2010 and 2006 World Cups.
