Taylor could be earning more minutes with Estoril soon
NICK LEYDEN - Thursday, March 21, 2013
Tony Taylor netted two goals as Estoril defeated third division Mafra 3-0 in a friendly on Wednesday morning.

The game was scheduled so that Estoril could maintain their competitive rhythm over this weekend's international break.

Estoril currently have 31 points, putting them in fifth place with seven games remaining. If they hold onto the position they would qualify for the Europa League for the first time in history, though Rio Ave, Maritimo and Vitoria de Guimaraes all sit just a single point behind.

Taylor will hope his two-goal performance earns him more playing time when league games begin again.

He has been used regularly as a second half substitute, but has not been named to the starting lineup in nearly six months as Marco Silva has preferred the pairing of Luis Leal and Lica.
