KRIS LINDSAY - Monday, February 3, 2014
The United States defeated South Korea 2-0 behind two goals from Chris Wondoloski.

Here are the player ratings for the game:

Starting lineup

Nick Rimando 6.5 - Good reaction save in the beginning which could have levelled the game. Was solid between the sticks all night, and his distribution was decent.

Michael Parkhurst - 6.5 Good game in the back with limited mistakes.

Matt Besler 5.0 - Two bad giveaways out of the back, had difficulty clearing the ball out of the back. Paired well with Gonzalez to neutralize the tall South Korean.

Omar Gonzalez 6.0 - Had a couple of key clearances from the back, but had difficulty getting the ball out of the 18. Got stronger as the game went along.

Brad Evans 4.0 - Not a good game from the Sounders midfielder. Struggled to clear the ball defensively, and didn't do much going forward.

Brad Davis 5.0 - Had a tough passing night, and didn't make much of a significant difference in the midfield.

Kyle Beckerman 7.5 and MOTM - solid in his role as the lone defensive midfielder. Stepped into passing lanes and had an accurate passing day.

Mikkel Diskerud 5.5 - Quiet for much of the day, but failed to control the possession through the first half. Was more accurate in the second half. Had a chance in front of goal in the first half, but didn't left the ball in front of him too long.

Graham Zusi 6.5 - Had a hand in both goals, put the ball in good positions for the forwards.

Landon Donovan 6.0 - His energy was refreshing on the field, made up for some inaccuracies with his hustle.

Chris Wondolowski 7.0 - In the right place at the right time on the first goal, a pretty good touch on the second goal. Had a nice cross that was just outside of the reach of Donovan.

Clarence Goodson 6.0 - Solid in the back. Provided good cover for the midfielders, getting up the field to help in the attack.

E. Johnson - Not a lot of action, not enough to rate.

Benny Feilhaber 5.5 - Didn't make much of a positive impact. Passing was a little off.

DeAndre Yedlin 6.0- Had a great technical move inside his own 18, escaping from a tough situation.

Luis Gil 6.5 - Accurate passing. Provided a technical ability in the midfield that helped to get the USA out of a tough spot.

Eric Alexander - No Rating, late cameo appearance.
