Fulham's Eddie Johnson may soon be packing his bags.

There seems to be a good chance that one of our Yanks has been released from his team, or at least will be at the end of his contract.

Jeremiah White, teammate of Benny Feilhaber at AGF Aarhus in Denmark, is out of contract with AGF this coming summer, and it appears they will not be retaining his services. However, there was a report that White had already been released just recently.

The diligent writers and reporters that we are, we contacted AGF about the situation. Unfortunately, we were met with a canned response:

"We are not aware of that. He has a contract until summer of 2010."

So, you will just have to keep checking Yanks-Abroad.com for the updates on White's situation.

Eddie Johnson could be on the move again in the January transfer window.

According to The Daily Mail and BBC, Fulham have sent a circular to Barclays Premier League and Championship clubs to tell that Eddie Johnson, Seol Ki-Hyeon, Fredrik Stoor, Toni Kallio and David Elm are available for transfer as Fulham try to slash their wage bill.

Johnson will likely draw some attention from the lower tier of Premier League teams and some upper tier Coca Cola teams.

This is really good news for him, though, as he needs to get some consistent playing time in order to have any chance at making Bob Bradley's World Cup squad this summer.

We should have more on the speedy, streaky goalscorer over the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

Speaking of speedsters with a shot at the World Cup, MLS star Jeff Cunningham is training with Ligue 1's Auxerre for the month of December.

Strikers like Cunningham full of speed, nose for goal often do well in France, so a loan or permanent move isn't something we should rule out. If Auxerre like him enough, it wouldn't be shocking to see him stay over there at least until the World Cup.

The more speedy strikers we have in Europe, the better.
