Americans in League One highlight action in England this weekend, as Frank Simek looks to help Carlisle United get back to winning ways against Yeovil Town.

Carlisle United - Yeovil Town

Frank Simek is expected to start in Carlisle United's game against Yeovil Town at Brunton Park.

The Cumbrians are coming off a big loss to Leyton Orient last weekend, as they went down 4-1 on the road. Carlisle has also won just one game out of their last eight in League One action.

Simek and company find themselves just seven points above the relegation zone with just eight games left in the season. They look to take advantage of their home field and separate themselves from the bottom four with three points.

Yeovil goes into this weekend's game in a better spot in the standings, but they also have hit a rough spot in the season. Town has won just one game in their last six, but they trail Tranmere Rovers by just goal differential for the last playoff position.

The home team will be without Danny Livesey because of a calf injury, while Mark Gillespie is sidelined because of suspension for the Cumbrians.

Yeovil's James McAllister will miss also because of suspension.

Mike Grella hopes to feature in Scunthorpe United's game against Doncaster.

Jon Paul Pittman's Oxford United takes on Northampton Town in League Two play.
