Bryan Gerzicich and Ironi Kiryat Shmona failed to score again and fell to the champions Maccabi Tel Aviv on Saturday.

Maccabi Tel Aviv 1 -Ironi Kiryat Shmona 0

Kiryat Shmona was held scoreless for their second straight game and will now look forward to the State Cup Final on Wednesday against Hapoel Ramat Gan. Gerzicich played 90 minutes after not playing in a 1-0 loss last week to Bnei Yehuda.

Both teams had chances in the first half but neither could take advantage. The match looked to be headed to a scoreless draw when Eran Zahavi scored in the 88th minute to give the champions more reason to celebrate.

Tel Aviv rested some starters after already clinching the championship and Kiryat Shmona needed to win this match to stay in contention for a Europa qualifying spot, which now looks nearly impossible with only two matches to play.

Instead, they will focus on the State Cup Final on Wednesday at Netanya's stadium against Hapoel Ramat Gan, where they still have a chance to bring home a trophy this season.

Leonard Krupnik did not play as Maccabi Netanya lost 3-0 to Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

Ryan Adeleye and Hapoel Ashkelon beat Beitar Shimshon Tel Aviv 3-2 in Liga Leumit relegation playoffs.
