Bryan Gerzicich and Ironi Kiryat Shmona ended their season with a win over Hapoel Ramat HaSharon on Saturday.

Ironi Kiryat Shmona 1 - Hapoel Ramat HaSharon 0

Gerzicich likely made his last start for the defending Israeli Champions this weekend as they downed HaSharon on the road to finish fourth in the 2012-2013 season.

A 43rd minute goal by Shimon Abuhatzira was all that the Blue Lions needed to leapfrog Bnei Yehuda and solidify fourth place in the Israeli first division. Even after losing Elad Gabai to his second yellow card in the 43rd minute, Kiryat Shmona was able to hold off struggling HaSharon.

The win was bittersweet for Kiryat Shmona having missed out on Europa qualifying, finishing five points behind Hapoel Tel Aviv and losing in penalties to Ramat Gan in the State Cup finals two weeks ago.

The 2011-2012 Israeli League champions are set to make a number of changes. Gerzicich is without a contract after three years with the club and leading scorer Abuhatzira will likely sign abroad in Italy. Additionally, 39 year old captain Salah Hasarma announced his retirement after the game to coach Kiryat Shmona's youth team next season.

Gerzicich has been rumored to have interest in MLS and Belgium, although nothing has been solidified yet. He caps his three year Kiryat Shmona career with one championship, 95 appearances and two goals from his defensive midfield role.

Leonard Krupnik and Maccabi Netanya's season is over, having been relegated into Liga Leumit.

Ryan Adeleye and Hapoel Ashkelon ended their season in a 1-1 draw with Maccabi Yavne and were saved from relegation by a mere four points.
