U.S national team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann named his roster for Wednesday's friendly against Bosnia.

The roster contains many interesting inclusions most notably impressive dual nationals John Anthony Brooks and Aron Johannsson. Brooks has played with both US and German youth national teams in recent years but this callup appears to signify a shift in his intentions toward the United States. The talented central defender from Hertha Berlin impressed in his Bundesliga debut on Sunday in a 6-1 rout over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Aron Johannsson is in the middle of the process for his FIFA one-time switch from Iceland and may not be cleared to play in time for the game. The American-born but Iceland-raised forward is currently with AZ Alkmaar and has scored in each of his first two games including in Sunday's win over Ajax.

The roster is also missing many regulars including Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan who are both now MLS-based. Other notable MLS-based players left off were Matt Besler, Clarence Goodson, and Omar Gonzalez who have emerged as the team's best central defenders.
