PREVIEW: WEEKEND ENGLISH ACTION
Tim Howard's Everton take on Liverpool in the Merseyside derby, while Geoff Cameron's Stoke City host Jozy Altidore's Sunderland in a relegation fight.
Everton - Liverpool
Tim Howard and Everton welcome Liverpool to Goodison Park in a pivotal Merseyside derby.
Howard is back from US national team duty and expected to start on Saturday.
The Toffees are in sixth place and are on a four game unbeaten run. Roberto Martinez and company look for another three points, which would pull them even with their cross-city rival.
Liverpool is in second place and trails Arsenal by just two points. The Reds have lost just once in their last six games and they hope to continue that hot streak this weekend.
Everton has not beaten the Reds since 2010, however last season's matches both ended in draws.
Liverpool's Luis Suarez is questionable to feature as he played in Uruguay's World Cup Qualifier just days ago.
Stoke City - Sunderland
Geoff Cameron and Stoke City host Jozy Altidore and Sunderland in a drop zone battle.
Both Cameron and Altidore played for the US during the international break and it is unknown if their respective managers will rest their players. Brek Shea and Maurice Edu are not likely to see the field for the Potters.
Stoke is just three points above the relegation zone, however their play of late has improved. The Potters have lost just once in their last five games, although just one of those games was a win.
The Black Cats are in the drop zone and trail Stoke by three points. Sunderland goes into the match playing stronger soccer as they have won three out of their last four games in all competitions.
Stoke's Stephen Ireland and Andy Wilkinson will miss because of injuries, while Sunderland's Andrea Dossena and Lee Cattermole are suspended for the match.
West Bromwich Albion - Aston Villa
Brad Guzan and Aston Villa visit West Bromwich Albion in a Monday Premier League clash.
Guzan is the regular starter for Villa and is expected to start.
Villa beat Cardiff City in their last match, snapping their four game winless skid. They are currently in 11th place.
West Brom is just above Villa by just goal differential and have won just once in their last five games. They have not lost to Villa however since 2010 and they hope to keep that streak going.
Watford - Bolton
Tim Ream and Bolton visit Watford in a crucial Championship clash.
Ream has been starting of late in Bolton's back line and is expected to see the field once again on Saturday. Stuart Holden continues his knee rehab and is will not see the field.
Bolton's start to the season was one to forget, but the team has turned around their play and has now gone seven games unbeaten and climbed up to 17th place.
Watford's season has been completely different, as they started out strong but have now hit a rough patch. They have gone four games winless, but they are just a point from a playoff position.
Nottingham Forest - Burnley
Eric Lichaj and Nottingham Forest host first place Burnley in a pivotal match.
Lichaj was called up for the US national team's November games, but the young defender is still likely to see time on Saturday.
Forest won their last match against second place Leicester City, although they had gone three games winless prior. They are in fifth place in a playoff position and trail their weekend rivals by eight points.
Burnley has been on fire throughout the majority of the season, however they are on a three game winless skid. They hope to get back to winning ways on Saturday.
Brad Friedel is not likely to play in Tottenham's match against Manchester City.
Duane Holmes and Huddersfield Town take on Sheffield Wednesday.
Oguchi Onyewu hopes to see the field in Queens Park Rangers match against Charlton Athletic.
Seb Hines and Middlesbrough take on Leeds United.
Jonathan Spector and Will Packwood are not likely to feature in Birmingham City's match against Blackpool.
Jon Paul Pittman and Wycombe take on Chesterfield.
