This latest loss is the third match in a row in which Nantes has failed to come away with a win, a disappointing skid for a team that was at one point in good position for a European competition next season.

Now Nantes sits in eighth place in Ligue 1 and seven points out of fourth place. The club's next Ligue 1 match will be this Sunday when they host sixth-place Lyon.
