Swansea City 2-3 Derby County
Derby County would come from a goal down to secure all three points in their win over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium to put pressure on their challengers in the chase for the promotion play-off spots.
Duane Holmes started the game for the Rams and went the distance as they have won back-to-back games.
The visitors opened the scoring just eight minutes into the contest when Martin Waghorn pounced on a shot from Thomas Lawrence that came bouncing off the frame. The striker would react first and get his foot on the ball to redirect it into the goal.
Derby seemed to have the advantage, but the host would swing the pendulum the other way in the second half.
Yan Dhanda leveled the score in the 56th minute when with a shot from distance that slipped past the outstretched hand of Derby goalkeeper Ben Hamer. Kyle Naughton followed up two minutes later with a goal to give Swansea the lead.
However, Derby would regain control of the game as Holmes tied it up in the 64th minute. Swansea was put under pressure and could not clear the ball out of their penalty area well when the English-American midfielder volleyed his effort into the back of the net.
Lawrence then gave the visitors the lead for good with 10 minutes remaining in regulation when he was left unmarked to fire his shot in from distance.
Derby County remains in 13th place in the standings with 43 points, seven points away from the play-off spots.
