FA CUP THIRD ROUND DRAW
All bets are off as the FA Cup enters the third round, as all the clubs in England enter the playing pool to provide the Yanks some strong competition in the oldest cup competition in England.
There are three all Premier League showdowns, with Brad Friedel given the chance to welcome his old club to Villa Park, while Jozy Altidore and company face Wigan. There will be another all-London affair for Arsenal as Jonathan Spector and West Ham welcome their cross town rivals to Upton Park.
Tim Howard and Everton face League One Carlisle, while Clint Dempsey and Eddie Johnson take on Swindon Town at Craven Cottage. Marcus Hahnemann had a good display on his Premier League debut for Wolverhampton Wanderers, and may keep his jersey when they travel to the winner of Tranmere versus Aldershot.
There are three match ups below the Premier League teams that are eye catching, Jay DeMerit and Watford versus Chelsea being the top of the list. Frank Simek should be fit to take on Crystal Palace, where he picked up his serious ankle injury over a year ago.
The final eye catcher comes in the form of Mike Grella and Leeds, who must beat non-league Kettering in a replay to book a trip to Old Trafford to take on old rivals Manchester United.
