TABE EXPLORING ALL OPTIONS
Like many Americans, Etchu Tabe is looking into 2010 with excitement and optimism even though the Georgia native has still not decided on where his immediate playing future will reside.
The young defender has enjoyed a great amount of success with Ljungskile of the Swedish second division, and his success has not gone unnoticed by other European clubs, as Tabe recently was invited to trial with Finnish club IFK Mariehamn before Christmas.
"My training with IFK Mariehamn was good, and it was great to be on the field again after a little rest from the end of the season," Tabe told Yanks Abroad. "I left a good impression on them and they showed a lot of interest in me but the club will not be making a decision until January", he added.
While IFK Mariehamn is certainly a top contender for the Cameroonian born player, it is not the only option for Tabe in 2010.
"It's (IFK Mariehamn) a very viable option, but I have a few other things going on with some other clubs, including Ljungskile, so we will see what happens."
Whomever lands Tabe's services for 2010 will be getting a young defender who this past year has proven that he is on the rise and the best is yet to come.
