Connor Tobin's time at Norwegian 1. Division club Nybersund-IL has come to a close while he continues to battle a quad injury.

Tobin spent the 2009 season with Nybergsund where he appeared in 19 matches for the club, 18 of which were starts.

But things turned sour for the Fort Collins, Colorado native when he was benched in August after a stretch of six matches which saw the Nybergsund defense concede 20 goals.

The following month Tobin suffered a quad injury that sidelined him for the rest of the season which he says is still hampering his recovery and led him to delay any decisions about his immediate playing future.

"As things stand right now, I am not headed back to Nybergsund," Tobin recently told YA. "I am still recovering from my quad injury from last season, so I have had to put all plans on hold for the moment."

As frustrating as it might be to face an uncertain future, the former University of Vermont standout remains upbeat and optimistic that he will find a new home soon.

"Once I fully recover, I will be exploring my options and hopefully finding a new team," concluded Tobin.
