Hopes for Europa League action next season will be on the line on Sunday afternoon when The Gods of War host an equally struggling Larissa squad.

Aris's American duo can expect to see playing time, although Hector Raul Cuper may opt to use Eddie Johnson and Freddy Adu as substitutes.

Both clubs have managed only one win in their last four outings and are looking to make the best out of the remaining seven games in the season. Aris sit in fifth place with just a two-point lead on Nea Kavala, and must find the back of the net if they hope to see Europa League action next season.

Larissa find themselves in their own chase for a spot in the Super League next season in 13th with 24 points, three out of the relegation zone.

After amassing only one goal in the past four outings Larissa skipper Marinos Ouzounidis hopes recently acquired Hull City man Daniel Cousin will boost the offense.

The Gabonese striker arrived on loan to Larissa following his stint with the national team at the African Nations Cup. Turkish striker Tümer Metin leads the squad in scoring with only four tallies thus far.

The Thessalonians will try to rebound from their 1-0 defeat last Sunday at AEK Athens, while Larissa regroup from their 2-0 embarrassment against Panthrakikos. In their previous meeting FC Aris and Larissa FC exchanged two goals and shared the spoils of the 2-2 tie.

Fortunately for Cuper his squad is free of injury issues, now that Irish striker Ian Daly has been deemed ready for action.
