There is no rest for the weary as the American pairing of DaMarcus Beasley and Maurice Edu return to action after two days of rest when Rangers travel to Kilmarnock on Tuesday.

Beasley started in Saturday's comeback victory over St. Mirren and will likely be part of head coach Walter Smith's starting 11 tomorrow at Rugby Park.

Old Firm hero Maurice Edu also saw a decent chunk of minutes versus the Buddies as a second half substitute and is expected to fill a similar role against Killie.

Rangers continue to march towards another Scottish Premier League championship with what seems to be different player stepping forward each game to guide the squad to victory.

Saturday's star was midfielder Lee McCulloch who scored two goals in the span of 12 minutes helping the Light Blues overcome an early one goal deficit.

Tuesday's visit to Ayrshire could be a tricky one as Kilmarnock have already knocked off one Old Firm club at their home gounds earlier this year when they beat Celtic.

It was the first win for Killie over the Hoops in nine years and head coach Jimmy Calderwood would love to see his squad pull off a similar feat versus the league leaders.

If the hosts pull off the upset, it will have to be without team leading scorer Kevin Kyle who is sidelined with a groin injury. Simon Ford and Craig Bryson are also unavailable due to injuries.

Madjid Bougherra continues to be bothered by a hamstring injury and will miss his second match in a row for Rangers.
