PREVIEW: MIDWEEK ENGLISH ACTION
Frank Simek and Jay DeMerit look to be the only Yanks to suit up in English action, with Simek pushing for a start against high flying West Brom.
West Brom - Sheffield Wednesday
Frank Simek will be looking for a start in Sheffield Wednesday's game against third place West Bromwich Albion.
Tommy Spurr was ruled out of the match when he was taken to the hospital for a concussion received in the Owl's 2-0 win over Leicester.
Simek came in at half time, and will hope to remain his replacement on Tuesday. Jermain Johnson's return to first team action proved instrumental, but Lewis Buxton is out with a hamstring problem.
Roman Bednar is an injury concern for Roberto Di Matteo, sidelined with a hamstring injury. Ishmael Miller has been struggling with an ankle injury but will be fit enough for the bench, while Giles Barnes continues to struggle from an Achilles injury.
Watford - Swansea
Jay DeMerit and Watford have a difficult home test as fourth place Swansea come to Vicarage Road.
Influential Hornets player Tom Cleverly is set to sit out his final game of his three match ban for getting a red card. The on-loan Manchester United midfielder has been largely successful at Vicarage Road owning the team lead in goals scored.
Paulo Sousa was left fuming after Swansea fell to a 90th minute goal in their weekend trip to Nottingham Forest, and will look for his players to bounce back against the Hornets.
Ferrie Bodde is the most recent injury concern, who has been ruled out for the season. After five months of recovery for a cruciate knee ligament injury, Bodde lasted only 29 minutes in his come back game as he again ruptured the same ligaments.
Joe Allen, Fede Bessone, Jordi Lopez, Garry Monk, Andrea Orlandi, and Albert Serran are all injured for Swans, while Gorka Pintado serves his third out of four matches on the sidelined for a red card.
Stuart Holden is out of the Bolton squad due to injury and will not travel with the team to Sunderland.
Devann Yao will not dress for Ipswich's home test against Cardiff.
Kenny Cooper will look to make an impact off the bench when Plymouth go to Queen's Park Rangers.
Mike Grella will hope to make the bench for Leeds who travel to Tranmere.
