PREVIEW: MIDWEEK ENGLISH ACTION
Brad Friedel and Jay DeMerit look to be the only Yanks getting a start in limited midweek action with the Hornets looking to get a vital three points from Devann Yao's Ipswich Town.
Wigan - Aston Villa
Brad Friedel will take up the senior keeping role while Brad Guzan watches from the sideline when Aston Villa travels to Wigan.
Friedel kept out the Stoke attack in their last outing, but the front runners for Aston Villa failed to make their mark in a goalless draw. Wigan will look for reprise after their 4-0 defeat at the hands of Bolton.
Nigel Reo-Coker is the only Villan out of action, but the former captain has his eyes set on the end of the month for his return. Wigan will be without James McCarthy after an ankle injury looks to be sidelining him, while Mario Melchiot is out for another week with a hip injury.
Watford - Ipswich
Jay DeMerit and Watford will look to make up points as the fear of relegation begins to creep into the minds of the Hornets as Devann Yao's Ipswich come to town.
DeMerit shook off a minor injury to participate in Watford's 1-0 defeat to bottom rooted Peterborough, so the Hornets will need something more to defeat Ipswich who are five points ahead of them.
Tom Cleverly could be the difference between the two clubs, as the Hornets fell in all three games as he served his time on the sidelines for a red card.
Yao has finally found a home in Roy Keane's Ipswich, but looks to still be working his way into the squad.
Damien Delaney saw straight red in Ipswich's last outing after the Republic of Ireland International brought down Jonathan Forte on the halfway line. Ipswich have appealed in hopes of having Delaney back in the squad for the vital trip to Vicarage Road.
Frank Simek will be on the bench for Sheffield Wednesday when they travel to Preston.
Kenny Cooper will look to get minutes from the bench when Plymouth host Bristol City.
