Daniel Antunez travels to Kuopio this weekend while the Yanks at VPS suffer another injury set-back.

Antunez is expected to remain a starter in central midfield when Inter travel to challenge KuPS in Northern Savonia on Sunday evening.

The Veikkausliiga newcomer has gotten the starting call from head coach Job Dragtsma in all three games of the young season and rewarded his Dutch coach with Inter's lone goal in Monday's loss to Lahti.

KuPS added an 18-year-old midfielder, Jerome Ogbuefi, to the team during the week and the Nigerian will be looking to make his Finnish debut on Sunday at the Magnum Areena.

Inter are in eigth place with four points after three games and KuPS are tied on points a spot back due to inferior goal differential.


The American duo of Brian Pope and Greg Eckhardt remain sidelined by injuries and are expected to miss out when VPS take on TPS in Turku under the Friday night lights. Eckhardt was expected to return to play soon, but has reaggravated his injured hamstring.
