Nick Noble came within seconds of securing another shutout but still went home happy as Ljungskile slapped out around visiting Brage on Saturday afternoon at Starke Arvid Arena in Ljungskile.

Noble started in net and went the distance only conceding a second half stoppage time goal to Johan Eklund. The former Austin Aztex man was rarely tested outside of a fine save made early in the first half.

Aleksander Kitic started the scoring in the 22nd minute when he found the back of the net after receiving a pass from Erik Nilsson.

Nilsson was the playmaker again 12 minutes later when he fired a shot that hit the post and fell to Genalvo who nodded the ball home.

Martin Smedberg tallied the third goal seven minutes after halftime giving making it the first time all season long that Ljungskile had scored at least three goals.

With momentum on their side, the hosts pushed forward for more and Gabriel Vanneryr added the fourth in the 73rd minute and John Patricksson scored one for the thumb in the 78th minute before Eklund ruined the shutout.

Noble and company return to action next weekend when they face Charlie Davies' old club of Hammarby.
