Three points are there for the taking as it is back to business in the Swedish Superettan for Ljungskile who travel to Upplands Vasby on Wednesday to take on Vasby United at Vilundavallen Stadium.

Nick Noble should be expected to once again start in net for the visitors who have risen to fifth place in the league standings.

Newly acquired American Michael Thomas will not be available for Ljungskile as the former Notre Dame standout must wait for clearance until July 1st due to the transfer window.

Thomas had been with Allsvenskan club Halmstads BK before receiving his release earlier this month.

After a first few months that saw their offense sputter badly failing to find the net with any regularity, the Ljungskile attack has come alive as of late tallying eight goals in their last three league matches.

The contest versus a downtrodden Vasby will also give Ljungskile a chance to quickly put behind the disappointment of Sunday's 0-1 Swedish Cup loss to Gefle.

Vasby enter the match with zero momentum having suffered defeat in their last four matches. The hosts are currently 15th in the 16 team league and occupy one of the dreaded spots in the relegation zone.

Ljungskile will be without Sören Ferm and Martin Smedberg-Dalence due to suspension while Vasby are not reporting any injuries.
