PREVIEW: WEEKEND SWEDISH ACTION
Alejandro Bedoya and Örebro return to action this weekend when they take on Superettan club Jönköpings Södra in the Swedish Cup while Ljungskile look to right things versus Degerfors
Jönköpings Södra - Örebro
Alejandro Bedoya can begin his push for the 2014 World Cup on Friday when Örebro jump back into action on Friday with a trip to the quarterfinals of the Swedish cup on the line.
Jönköping are a below average 11th in the Superettan, while Örebro has started strong to sit in third place in the Allsvenskan.
Bedoya has played a large role in Örebro's sucesss, starting 13 matches, scoring one goal, with three assists and in an expanded role in the team's offensive build-up.
Ljungskile - Degerfors
This Sunday brings a 4th of July home match for Nick Noble and his new teammate Michael Thomas.
After being bounced from the Swedish Cup by Europa Leaguers Gefle and then losing at Vasby United in midweek, Ljungskile can focus on trying to make up ground with the Superettan's leaders.
Ljungskile are just six points behind Degerfors. They have brought in central-midfielder Thomas in an attempt to return to the top flight.
Thomas was not able to find playing time with floundering Halmstad, but could make his first appearance as a sub soon for Ljungskile.
