TRAFTON KENNEY - Friday, July 9, 2010
Daniel Antunez and Inter look to climb to the upper half of the league while Greg Eckhardt and MyPa face a tough show-down with visiting VPA.

FC Inter vs. FC Honka

Daniel Antunez and FC Inter host a confident FC Honka team on Friday at the Veritas Stadion as the home team looks to move into the top half of the standings.

Antunez is expected to start at his customary spot in the defense while coach Job Dragtsma is relying on players like Kennedy Nwanganga and Mika Ojala to lead the front line. New signing Andrey Almeida will have to wait until next week to make his contribution.

FC Honka currently sit in second place in the Veikkausliiga, 12 points above FC Inter who are in ninth place after last weekend's 3-2 loss to MyPa.

VPS - MyPa

Greg Eckhardt and VPS face MyPa on Sunday knowing that a win could see the two teams switch places in the standings.

Former Clemson Tiger Eckhardt is expected to earn the start in midfield after playing the full 90 minutes in last week's win over AC Oulu.

MyPa showed impressive resilience to fight off a last minute comeback by FC Inter last weekend after registering a win just days earlier in Europa League qualifying against FC Trans Nava.

VPS forwards Antonio Inutile and Valtter Laaksonen are both sidelined with injuries.

American goalkeeper Brian Pope is still out for VPS with a shoulder injury.
