PREVIEW: WEEKEND DANISH ACTION
Michael Parkhurst and Nordsjaelland will try to make it two-for-two on Sunday when they take on SønderjyskE, while injured Aalborg players Chris Rolfe and Marcus Tracy will not participate as the team hosts Brøndby.
FC Nordsjaelland - SønderjyskE
Michael Parkhurst will retain his starting spot in central defense for Nordsjaelland as they attempt to hold their early first-place standing when they host a poor SønderjyskE team on Sunday.
The Wild Tigers jumped to the top of the league after the first round of games thanks to their dominant 4-1 win over Silkeborg, and will be confident in their ability to score another big win to solidify their position.
For their part, SønderjyskE were the victims of a rather lopsided defeat in their season opener, falling by a 3-1 margin to reigning league champions Copenhagen, and generally showing signs of a tough road ahead for the new season.
If there is any advantage which may swing the game in the visitors' favor, it could be the forward gaze of Nordsjaelland's players toward their tough Europa League matchup on Thursday against Portuguese team Sporting, however they will need more than just luck to improve over their dismal performance of last weekend.
Neither team is reporting any injuries or suspensions to their squads.
Both Marcus Tracy and Chris Rolfe are injured, meaning neither will take part when Aalborg host Brøndby on Sunday.
