PREVIEW: WEEKEND NORWEGIAN ACTION
Kenneth Di Vita Jensen and Honefoss seek a second straight win at home versus ODD while Mikkel Diskerud and Stabaek head way up north to face Tromso.
Hønefoss - ODD Grenland
Sunday Kenneth Di Vita Jensen looks to make his third start at midfield for Hønefoss in as many games as they play host to ODD Grenland at AKA Arena.
Hønefoss meets ODD Grenland for the third time this season and hopes to secure their first win against the eighth ranked Eliteserien club.
They first lost on the road 0-1 in the 14th round of league play. The second and more severe 1-5 loss came in early July when ODD ejected Hønefoss from the Norwegian Cup Tournament.
Both teams are coming off wins and will be hungry to keep that momentum going as ODD defeated Strømsgodset last weekend 2-0 and Hønefoss overcame Lillestrom 3-2.
Hønefoss will look to strikers Lennart Steffensen and Davy Angan to lead the attack while Madiou Konate is out with an ankle injury and a game time decision.
ODD will have a full team available.
Tromsø - Stabæk
Stabæk with Mikkel Diskerud head north to Alfheim Stadion Sunday to face the Eliteserien's third place team Tromsø.
Diskerud will start in the midfield and will be relied upon to continue his contributions to offense.
An offense that has seen a number of injuries to key players such as Daniel Nannskog and Pontus Farnerud recently sold midfielder Espen Hoff to IK Start.
The two teams met up earlier this season in the fourth round of play when Tromsø defeated Stabæk 1-0.
Tromsø looks for their first win since the 24th of May and will have a full squad available.
Both Clarence Goodson and Hunter Freeman are suspended for Start due to yellow card accumulation and will not take part versus Valerenga on Sunday.
Colin Burns and Joe Bednik will be on the sideline as reserve keepers for their respective teams, Sarpsborg and Sogndal as they face Bodø/Glimt and Strømmen.
