PREVIEW: WEEKEND FINNISH ACTION
BRI-MATHIAS HODGE - Friday, July 30, 2010
FC Inter and Daniel Antunez get a trip to last place Lahti after a short recovery from Thursday's Europa League qualifying loss while VPS and Greg Eckhardt take on the Helsinki club at the other end of the table.

FC Lahti - FC Inter

Daniel Antunez is expected to start in the midfield as Inter try to recover from their midweek drubbing in the Europa League qualifiers at the hands of Genk with a trip to Lahti on Sunday.

The hosts, Jari Litmanen's hometown club, have struggled this season and are dead last in the standings after 15 games.

A win at Lahden Stadion could sneak them past Oulu and out of the cellar.

Inter are currently sixth in the Veikkausliiga standings, even on points with VPS and Jaro.

HJK - VPS

Greg Eckhardt should start in the backline for Vepsu as they travel to the capital to take on league leaders HJK at the Finnair Stadium on Saturday evening.

Jyrki Sara is questionable with a thigh injury for the guests while Valtter Laaksonen, Antonio Inutile, Jan Berg and Joacim Tuuri are all also out with long term injuries.

American keeper Brian Pope remains out with a shoulder injury for VPS.

The team have drafted in Vladan Zlatkovic from Kraft FF on loan as a temporary replacment.

VPS are now seventh in the standings, tied on points with Jaro and Inter.
