PREVIEW: WEEKEND MEXICAN ACTION
WOODY BAUM - Friday, August 20, 2010
Sammy Ochoa faces off against Edgar Castillo, while Pachuca's trio of Jose Francisco Torres, Herculez Gomez and Marco Vidal look to leave a positive first impression on their new coach.

Estudiantes - San Luis

Estudiantes will look for their first point of the season when they host San Luis on Friday in Guadalajara.

Sammy Ochoa is projected to see the field again as he looks to score his first goal of the season after missing several clear opportunities two weeks ago.

Estudiantes will be hosting a San Luis team coming off an important home match against America last week.

Ochoa will get the chance to play against fellow American, Edgar Castillo who will be looking for more opportunities to impress head coach Ignacio Ambriz, after not playing last week.

Angel Partida and Juan Carlos Leaņo are injured and will be unavailable for Estudiantes, while San Luis is expected to have its entire lineup available.

Pachuca - Monterrey

Pachuca will play their first game under new head coach Pablo Marini after Guillermo Rivarola abruptly quit last week after being humiliated against Cruz Azul.

Pachuca will be hoping that Marini will bring welcome change to a team that has been blown away in their three most recent games, however they will have a difficult game ahead of them as they host a strong Monterrey team that recently defeated Pumas.

Jose Francisco Torres will likely start again after recovering from injury while Herculez Gomez and Marco Vidal will hope for time as second half substitutes.
