Michael Thomas shifted from forward to left midfield and goalkeeper Nick Noble started, as he has every game this season but Ljungskile didn't put up much of a fight against Allsvenskan-bound Sundsvall.

In the 32nd minute, Ljungskile back David Durmaz passed to Sundsvall striker Aziz Corr-Nyang who made sure Noble couldn't make a save.

Four minutes later, Aleksandar Kitic put in a horrible own goal from distance, hitting the crossbar.

In the 79th minute, the GIFers finally scored their own goal when Islander Ari Freyr Skulason found his countryman Hannes Sigurdsson, who scored his ninth goal of the season.

Ljungskile started to make things exciting in the 90th minute when Gabriel Altemark-Vanneyr scored on a breakaway.

In additional time, Erik Nilsson scored on a free kick and Billyl Berntsson was sent off for his second yellow card.

Time ran out on the comeback effort, and Ljungskile will try rediscover their winning ways next week against a struggling Trollhättan.
