PREVIEW: ESTORIL - COVILHÃ
After a week off Estoril will hope to get their Liga Orangina season on track when they host Covilhã on 9/12, though Tony Taylor is the only Yank likely to see action.
GD Estoril Praia – Sporting Covilhã
Newly signed Greg Garza will miss out on his first game with Os Canarinhos as he has travelled to Peru with the U-20s, and midfielder Bryan Arguez is still looking to return to the gameday roster for the first time in a month.
Taylor, however, has been among coach Vinícius Eutrópio's first options off the bench in recent games, and figures to play a similar role on Sunday. The attack will most likely be spearheaded by Brazilian veteran Clodoaldo, who scored in a midweek exhibition victory over powerhouse Benfica.
Having lost 1-0 away to Moreirense in their opening league game of the season, Estoril will be anxious to welcome Covilhã to the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota where they had success in two cup games last month.
Other than Garza, Eutrópio will only be missing the services of midfielder Da Cunha, who scored the winning goal in the most recent Taça da Liga game against Oliveirense.
Covilhã will also enter the game with its full complement of players, and will hope to continue its fine start after a 2-1 win over Leixões.
The Estoril defense will have to pay particular attention to Dani, who is a scoring threat out of the midfield, as well as Brazilian striker Rincon.
The visitors will also bring a familiar face to Estoril, as attacker Bruno Severino returns following his summer transfer.
