It will be a battle of two most prominent Americans in the Israeli premier league when Bryan Gerzicich and Hapoel Kiryat Shmona host Leo Krupnik and Maccabi Netanya.

Hapoel Kiryat Shmona Maccabi Netanya

While they began the year in incredible form, Hapoel Kiryat Shmona have struggled as of late with four draws and a loss in their last five. They have fallen to third place but trail first place Maccabi Tel Aviv by just one point.

On Saturday, Hapoel Kiryat will hope to retake the league lead when they host Maccabi Netanya at Kiryat Shmona Municipal Stadium.

Bryan Gerzicih is likely to start for Kiryat Shmona. The American has played every minute of the season so far for his club.

Maccabi Netanya have been up and down this season largely due to a very young team. They are currently in sixth place but are only four points out of first place.

American central defender Leo Krupnik is likely to start for Maccabi Netanya and he has started every league match for the club.

Maccabi Netanya will be without their captain, defender Orel Dgani, and forward Achmad Saba'a who each earned red cards in the club's 3-1 loss Hapoel Acre in their last league match.

Hapoel Kiryat Shmona will be without defender Barak Bakhar who will be out for five months following knee surgery this week.

US U20 international Alexander Zahavi is likely to start on the bench for Maccabi Haifa on Saturday when they travel to take on Hapoel Ramat Gan at Winter Stadium.

American defender Ryan Adeleye will hope to see minutes as a substitute for Hapoel Be'er Sheva FC when they visit Hapoel Haifa at Kiryat Eliezer Stadium
