American Freddy Adu is currently in Denmark training with Superliga club Randers where he impressed club officials in a reserve match on Monday.

The attacking midfielder's career continues to be a nomadic one as Adu has yet to even come close to featuring for Greek club Aris during the current campaign.

Adu joined the club in January of this year on-loan from Portuguese club Benfica.

In an effort to keep himself in game-playing shape, the Maryland native traveled to Denmark where he is currently practicing with the Randers.

The club confirmed that Adu did play in a reserve match on Monday.

"Monday [Freddy] played a match for our reserves and he did well, he had two shots on the inside post," confirmed Randers media spokesman Ib Rasmussen to YA.

However Rasumussen went on to clarify though that the former DC United man is not on trial.

"Freddy is not trialing with Randers FC, he's just keeping himself fit by training with our Premier League squad," concluded Rasmussen.
