FOREST STILL MUM ON FINDLEY CONTRACT

Despite reports to the contrary, English Championship club Nottingham Forest insist they have yet to finalize a deal for American forward Robbie Findley.

The former Real Salt Lake man has been linked with a number of clubs however a move to Forest gained serious steam after Wolves head coach Mick McCarthy mentioned that his club had lost out to the two-time Champions League winners for Findley's services.

When pressed as to whether or not a contract had been finalized for the Phoenix, Arizona native, Forest indicated that at this moment, no agreement has been completed.

"As a club we're not in a position to comment with regard to Robbie he certainly hasn't completed a move to Forest yet," Nottingham Forest Media Director Fraser Nicholson told YA. "Mick McCarthy's comments suggest a deal has been completed but that's not the case, yet.

Findley, a dual citizen of both the US and Trinidad and Tobago, spent three and a half seasons at Real Salt Lake where he appeared in 91 matches and scored 29 goals.
