NICK LEYDEN - Friday, January 14, 2011
Coming off two consecutive defeats at home Tony Taylor and Estoril will hit the road this weekend to take on Gil Vicente in Liga Orangina action.

Os Canarinhos will hope that a change of scenery on Saturday will help them break their current three game winless streak, which includes two shutouts.

While Gil Vicente does sit two points ahead of Taylor and Co. in the standings, they may just be the perfect hosts for the sputtering Estoril attack as they have not registsred a shutout in their last nine outings.

The Estoril defense, however, will also have their work cut out for them containing a potent Gil Vicente attack, which has not scored fewer than two goals in any of their previous three games.

Brazilian striker Luis Carlos and hometown product Hugo Vieira, who have scored five goals apiece, will likely spearhead the hosts attack in the Estádio Cidade de Barcelos.

Vinícius Eutrópio will have a nearly full strength team to choose from, though captain Marco Silva is set to miss out with a left knee issue.

Brazilian midfielder Da Cunha is also in a race to prove his fitness, though he is expected to be named on the gameday roster, while Texas native Greg Garza will likely not be called as he has been away from the team for roughly two weeks to train with the US U-20s in Ft. Lauderdale.

Last season the teams traded 2-0 results, with the away team winning both games.
