Liverpool - Fulham
Clint Dempsey and Fulham will be looking for a big three points at Anfield when the Cottagers travel to Liverpool.
Both teams are off of confidence boosting wins while Dempsey will be on a personal high of scoring twice over the weekend against Stoke City.
Matthew Briggs and Dickson Etuhu are sidelined while Bobby Zamora and Philippe Senderos both edge closer to their eventual returns to first team action.
Liverpool finally pieced together a comprehensive victory, dispatching Wolves 3-0 away from home.
Liverpool have parted with Ryan Babel who joined Bundesliga club Hoffenheim on Monday. Milan Jovanovic has been sidelined with illness but should overcome his symptoms in time to feature for Liverpool while Jamie Carragher is out until late February with a dislocated shoulder.
Birmingham - West Ham
Jonathan Spector should start for West Ham who take on Birmingham in the Carling Cup semi finals.
The winner will face the winner of Arsenal and Ipswich Town. Birmingham are without Enric Valles who is out with an ankle injury while Scott Dann is out until August with a hamstring injury. James McFadden will return by the end of February with an ACL knee injury.
West Ham will be without Frederic Piquionne who picked up a red card in their weekend draw at Everton after he thought he had scored the game winner.
Everton ended up using their man advantage in their favor and scored the late equalizer. Demba Ba will look to slot straight in to the attack after joining from Hoffenheim while MIddlesbrough's Gary O'Neil is close to signing a deal with the Hammers.
