PREVIEW: HIBERNIAN - RANGERS
Maurice Edu and Rangers will look to exact a bit of revenge on Wednesday night when they travel to Easter Road in Edinburgh to take on Hibernian.
Edu started in Saturday's disappointing 1-0 loss at Hearts and can be expected to receive another nod from head coach Walter Smith.
This match marks a rematch of sorts for Edu who suffered a knee injury while playing against Hibs back on November 9th.
The Edinburgh club strutted out of Ibrox Stadium that day with a 0-3 win that sent shockwaves throughout the rest of the Scottish Premier League.
A question that needs to be answered is who will be scoring the goals for Rangers now that Kenny Miller has departed for Bursaspor.
With Miller's departure, 22 goals also walked out the door and judging by Saturday's loss at Hearts, no one has stepped in to fill that void for the Light Blues.
Rangers will need all three points if they want to keep pace in the SPL standings with Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Currently the Light Blues are five points behind the Hoops with two games in hand.
Since that upset victory in Glasgow over two months ago, Hibernian have done very little to parlay that into any type of success.
They have won just one game out of their last nine and currently sit in 11th. To boot, Hibs have still not found the back of the net in 2011 with their last goal coming on December 29th in a 2-2 draw with Dundee United.
Derek Riordan continues to be a bright spot for Hibs and he will be out to add to his goal total of eight.
Kirk Broadfoot and Andrew Little are out for Rangers due to injuries. Kevin McCann is a definite out for Hibs while Lewis Stevenson and Edwin de Graaf are both doubtful.
