PREVIEW: WEEKEND MEXICAN ACTION
Jose Francisco Torres and Pachuca look to continue their winning ways in week 13 of the Mexican Clausura when they host a suddenly-dangerous Jaguares.
Pachuca – Jaguares
Jose Francisco Torres and Pachuca aim to make it two wins in a row on Saturday at Estadio Hidalgo when they take on Jaguares.
Torres will likely start in his usual central midfielding capacity while compatriot Herculez Gomez will likely start on the bench.
Gomez did not see the field in last week's 1-3 upset victory over Morelia while Torres started and was subbed out in the second half.
New Pachuca coach Efrain Flores got his first win with the Tuzos since taking the helm last month and will be expecting a similar performance out of his squad this weekend.
Even though Jaguares are dead last in the overall standings, the Chiapas club sprung the surprise of the season taking down Pumas last week to end the first place club's dreams of an unbeaten season.
Starting Pachuca goalkeeper Miguel Calero is out injured for the season and will not play while Jaguares will be without Jackson Martinez.
Adrian Ruelas will hope to make the game day roster for Santos in their rematch of the 2010 Apertura final versus Monterrey.
Defender Edgar Castillo may see some minutes off the bench for Puebla who host Toluca.
Estudiantes' American duo of Sammy Ochoa and Daniel Antunez are unlikely to see the field on Friday versus Gallos Blancos.
Jonathan Bornstein will hope to see time off the bench for Tigres who clash with Pumas in a battle of Mexico's top teams.
