PREVIEW: ABERDEEN - RANGERS
Maurice Edu and Rangers face yet another midweek test this time with a visit Pittodrie Stadium to take on Aberdeen as the Scottish Premier League title chase continues.
Edu will take his customary spot at central midfielder in the team's starting 11 in what is a must-win encounter for Rangers.
First place Celtic soundly defeated St. Johnstone on Tuesday so another three points will be required of the Light Blues should they want to keep their SPL title hopes alive.
Heading into the match, Rangers are five points behind the Parkhead squad but with Wednesday's match in hand.
Aberdeen have been abysmal in league play this season as they sit in tenth with 31 points.
However the Dons are in the semifinals of the Scottish Cup where they face Celtic on Sunday so it stands to reason that Aberdeen's focus may be elsewhere when they kick off against the Light Blues.
Rangers will be without Richard Foster, Lee McCulloch, Kirk Broadfoot and Vladimir Weiss while Aberdeen will be missing Rpry McArdle, Zander Diamond, David McNamee, Paul Hartley, Yoann Folly, Darren Mackie and Fraser Fyvie.
