After being forced out early from Aalborg's 2-0 win over the weekend with a leg problem, Chris Rolfe is expected to be recovered in time for their upcoming game on Friday.

The American forward has only just returned within the last few weeks from a long-term struggle with injury, however fortunately a slight knock picked up in the weekend's contest won't add to his time on the sidelines.

Rolfe was pulled with a leg problem after 69 minutes with Aalborg leading Midtjylland by two goals in their Saturday-afternoon game, however the team feels the six-day pause until their Friday-evening home game against Lyngby will be enough time to allow him to make a full recovery.

"Chris [Rolfe] did have an injury with his leg in Saturday's game," Aalborg press officer Brian Andersen told YA. "We don't think it will keep him out of our next game on Friday, but we'll know tomorrow."

Aalborg have experienced a resurgence in recent weeks, with a string of five straight games without a loss, and a total of one loss in the seven games since the American made his return.

After looking dead in the water heading into the winter break, they now have their Superligaen survival in their own hands, holding a two-point cushion above the relegation zone with five games remaining on the schedule.
